USB接線延長有否極限?

每次聽到門鈴就要抛開電腦上的運作趕着開門查看誰來探訪, 近年來經濟市道不十分好, 有很多經紀或推銷員上門銷售, 故此想到把一個USB的viewer攝像機放在門前, 好讓我按按電腦就一目了然的看到誰來探訪或是不請自來的推銷員, 可是電腦與門的接線距離最少都有七十多英呎, 而奇怪的是市面上的USB接線都找不到有百呎之長, 故此想以電話線或internet網絡接線取替, 請問此法可否實行? 是否USB接線有一定的長度極限?

USB的線材是有長度限制的，
超過長度訊號衰減嚴重，幾乎不能正常使用，
雖然市面有加強訊號的線材，
但依您的需求，
你需要的是IP CAM。
（有線/無線CAMERA）
