Wireless 802.11b/g/n是甚麼東西?

現時的手提電腦, 在廣告圖片中總有:
Wireless 802.11b/g/n
Atheros 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN
Wireless Networking 802.11a/b/g/n
等等的無線上網功能配置.
記得往年手提電腦的無線上網衹寫着: WIFI
問題:
1. Wireless 802.11b/g/n...等等與WIFI有何分別?
2. 現時圖書館多有通過WIFI提供免費的手提電腦上網, 請問擁有Wireless 802.11b/g/n...等的手提電腦還可否在圖書館享用免費之WIFI上網嗎?
